January Meeting
Program
At the January meeting we will be making donation quilts for wounded returning soldiers. Bring your sewing machine, thread, etc. and
2 1/2 “ strips the width of fabric in reds, whites and blues. The quilts will be scrappy, so bring any shades of the colors your have. For every square we will need 1 red, 2 blue and 3 white strips. How many quilts we make will depend on how much fabric you bring.
2005 Dues and Envelopes
Remember to bring your dues ($12) to this meeting. It would help Marilyn if you would put the money in an envelope with your name on the front.
Also bring your mailing envelopes if you want to have the newsletter mailed to you.
Directory Information
If your address, phone number or email has changed recently, be sure to let Jean know this month because the new directory will be published in February.

Newsletter information
Are you taking a trip during which you will attend a quilt show? Have you taken a class recently that was exciting , interesting and/or fun? Have you visited (or plan on visiting) a quilt shop that is not one of our three local shops? Do you have a quilt book or magazine that has great ideas or is written especially clearly or has some new technique? Do you know information about an upcoming quilting event?
As you know, the guild newsletter has featured almost all of our members as well as our three area quilt shops; so, we’re looking for new items to put on the features page of
future issues. If you have information about anything related to quilting, please let Jean or Joanna Baranek know. We’d appreciate your help.
